Don’t miss out on this upcoming webinar reporting the latest research results on screen time across the preschool years.Dr. Megan Gath from the University of Canterbury’s Child Well-being Research Institute will present data from a recently published research report, funded through the Ministry of Social Development’s Children and Families Research Fund. Data from over 6,000 New Zealand children and their families collected through the Growing Up in New Zealand study will be shared. The data suggest that high levels of screen time across the preschool years are associated with poorer developmental outcomes when children reach school age, including language, early educational skills, and social skills. These research findings will be discussed within the current context of increasing levels of screen media use by young children.
