Kia ora to our new Research Operations Manger, Kathryn Howard.
Kathryn comes to us from the Faculty of Science at the University of Auckland where she has been a research programme manager. She has previous experience in the University’s Research Office.
Prior to joining the University, Kathryn worked in local and central government where she held various roles including engagement advisor at the Bay of Plenty Regional Council, funds analyst at the Ministry for the Environment, and international advisor at the Department of Conservation.
Kathryn previously worked at a research institute in Freiburg, Germany, where she studied environmental governance – and enjoyed hiking, birdwatching and skiing in the nearby Black Forest.
