A study by the University of Canterbury’s College of Education Health and Human Development interviewed 134 parents of Māori and Pasifika students to study the impact of lockdown on Pasifika education. The study is related to the Challenge’s Successful Learning theme from a member of our wider research team.
For Pasifika Kai-ārahi, Leali’ie’e Tufulasifa’atafatafa Ova Taleni, this was a unique chance to hear the voices of Pasifika parents about how lockdown would affect their children’s curriculum and qualification expectations.
